Episode 88, “Democracy in America”

-Andrew For America talks about the book, "Democracy in America" by French political philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville. Andrew discusses how and why our American democracy has transformed into an oligarchy over time, and how it is predominantly due to a lazy, bored, apathetic, uninterested, privileged, entitled, stupid, propagandized, manipulated populace that "dropped the ball" throughout the course of the past 245 years of our nation's history.

-The song selection is the song, "Standstill" by the band Non-Prophet.
