Episode 91, “Moral vs. Legal”

-Andrew For America discusses the differences between morality and legality with regard to lawmaking and the interpretation of law. He talks about a recent vote by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem to not expunge the records of people previously convicted of crimes involving cannabis, which is now legal in the state of South Dakota. Andrew also talks about the "Writ of Habeas Corpus" and how the Patriot Act (as well as other legislation) has contributed to the slow usurpation of our individual freedoms.
