Show Notes:

Many of my fellow Americans need help with understanding the meaning of the word, “capitalism.” Capitalism is important to understand because there is a lot of confusion regarding the meaning of the word. There is a big difference between what people often times blame on capitalism, and the reality that what those unaware people are really complaining about is “crony” capitalism. Not everyone understands economics, and this fact is the root cause of our dilemma in this episode.

In today's episode, I go in-depth about how my fellow Americans can benefit from understanding capitalism. I talk about the free market, the definition of the word “greed,” and how the Covid-19 pandemic changed our economy. I thought this was important to talk about in this episode because capitalism is ignorantly blamed for many of our nation’s problems when in fact it is government that is the cause of the majority of our nation’s problems.

Here's what you'll learn in this episode:

  • The difference between capitalism and "crony" capitalism.

  • The meaning of the terms, "revolving door" and, "regulatory capture."

  • Andrew reads some lyrics to the song, "Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes" by the band Propaghandi.
