My fellow Americans, we desperately need help understanding the importance of learning the lessons of history. Police state power, media manipulation/propaganda, censorship, etc. are the tools of empire. It is important to acknowledge and to understand this reality, and Kitty Werthmann’s story should be viewed as a warning about the reality of what governments are capable of, and what they have actually done in the past.

In today's episode, I plead with my fellow American’s to be brave enough to accept the importance and the need for us all to learn the lessons of history.

This subject came up for me when I read the Kitty Werthmann story. It is a cautionary tale about how government is a "necessary evil," and how sometimes, throughout history, governments have been capable of losing the public's trust and turning to committing genocide and slavery in order to control their populations.

I thought this was important to talk about in this episode because the seriousness and importance of understanding how tyrannical, genocidal governments have operated in the past is continually showing itself every day here in the 21st century.
